“Today is my last day at SiGMA – World’s Gaming Festival. To say it’s been eventful is an understatement. Thank you [Founder] Eman Pulis for taking me under your radar during the toughest years for events and for believing in me,” Ms Sammut wrote.

She went on to thank “the rest of the squad” who are “undoubtedly some of the fiercest and most hardworking individuals [she’s] worked with”.

Ms Sammut has now joined London-based fintech company Citizen as Head of iGaming Partnerships.

“Thank you to every one of you who took cold calls and entrusted me with your goals, and to my regular clients who have become friends. The good news is that I’ll still be an Ambassador,” she wrote.

“They say ‘pick a job you like and you won’t have to work a day in your life.’ In my case, I picked an industry that I love,” Ms Sammut concluded.

Before joining SiGMA in November 2020, Ms Sammut held a series of events and iGaming-related roles. These include: Head of Events at SBC, Communications Manager and Employer Brand Manager at Videoslots, Festivals and Events Management at 356 Group, and VIP Sales Manager at Grupo Mambo.
