Matteo Alessandro

Matteo Alessandro, CEO at digital age consultancy agency Lumco.mt, has been appointed Internal Auditor at ELSA – the European Law Students’ Association.

Mr Alessandro was elected to the role during the association’s 81st International Council Meeting in Cosenza, Italy.

“I look forward to continue working with the association towards its longevity and sustainability,” Mr Alessandro wrote on social media.

Founded in 1981, ELSA comprises a membership of 60,000 students and recent graduates, making it the world’s largest independent law students’ association.

ELSA is led by its purpose of contributing towards legal education, fostering mutual understanding, and promoting the social responsibility of law students and young lawyers.

The association operates primarily through its local groups, which are located at nearly 430 universities throughout 43 countries in Europe – Malta included.

Mr Alessandro’s professional involvement with the association started in July 2017, when he was appointed Vice President for Marketing at ELSA Malta. The following year, he was elected Vice President for Marketing at ELSA.

Since May 2021, Mr Alessandro has also been at the helm of Lumco.mt, a recently founded digital age consultancy partner.

The company’s portfolio of clients includes Din l-Art Helwa, Ocean Basket Malta, and UM Wolves RFC.
