Experienced Lawyer Mariella Baldacchino took to social media to announce the launch of her very own legal practice, Empleo.
“For these past months, I have been working hard to create a law practice which is focused on employment and workplace matters – an area which I am passionate about,” Dr Baldacchino wrote.
In fact, Empleo deals with matters such as the right to disconnect, the four-day week, the gig economy, and platform workers.
“There are several excellent lawyers in Malta, but not many are disruptors,” the Empleo website reads.
“That’s what we consider ourselves, because we have the right blend of innovative thinking and years of experience to our name. In fact, our lawyers have more than 10 years of hands-on experience,” it continues.
Prior to launching Empleo, Dr Baldacchino had been working as a Freelance Legal Consultant. Earlier on in her career, she served as Senior Manager, Director, and COO at E&S Group.
