Mark Magro on Monday announced that he has been promoted to Director of Sales Operations at Alter Domus.

His new position comes after his “journey” at the fund and corporate services provider started almost six years ago, when he initially joined as Marketing & Sales Support Senior Officer.

He remarked that the company has given him “the opportunity to grow and progress and to become a better professional”. Mr Magro also proceeded to thank everyone that made it possible.

During his time at the company, he has served in a wide array of positions, including as Deal Management Manager and then Senior Manager Sales Operations, when he was working at its Chicago, United States office. He has led the Alter Domus Global sales operations team since January 2021.

Prior to his time at Alter Domus, he worked in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly at manufacturing company Novartis for eight years, first as Medical Representative, before he was then promoted to Product Specialist after five-and-a-half years.

Mr Magro holds a Master of Business Administration and Management from Heriot-Watt University, along with a Bachelor of Pharmacy from University of Malta. He describes himself as a “hard-working” and “ambitious” individual, that is especially skilled in business development, negotiating skills, and customer relationship management, among others.

Alter Domus is a European provider of fund and corporate services dedicated to international private equity and infrastructure houses, real estate firms, multinationals, private clients and private debt managers. It has a network of 37 offices in 21 countries across the world, including in Malta. Its Malta office was opened in 2010, and now serves some of the “largest clients across alternative asset classes” in the country.
