A stalwart of the local technology industry, Marlon Grech has enjoyed several senior roles at some of Malta’s leading tech companies in the past years.
His latest appointment takes him to Melbourne-based maritime transportation company RightShip wherein he will be taking on the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
Taking to social media to celebrate this new beginning, Mr Grech couldn’t help but celebrate his past nine years with Thynk – a company he founded in 2013.
“For the past nine years, Thynk has become my home, my family, my pride and joy. Surrounded by a truly amazing team, we truly delivered on our original slogan, ‘Driven by a passion to build software solutions that help users’ everyday lives’,” he wrote.
Speaking of his move, Mr Grech explained that this progression was quite a natural one. In fact, he had been working closely with RightShip since the beginning.
“Shoulder to shoulder with our colleagues at RightShip we gave the industry tools to get closer to the zero-harm vision”, he said.
“Through technology and data, we believe that we can leave our world in a better place, we can have real impact. I had no idea where the Thynk journey would take us nine years ago, but today it is clear as day. I want to make RightShip my home, my family, my pride and joy,” Mr Grech concluded.
