Long-standing Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) employee Kinga Warda has been promoted to Chief of Policy and International Affairs.

Based in Smart City, the MGA is the single regulatory body responsible for the governance of all gaming activities in Malta.

Ms Warda joined the authority as a Research Executive back in 2014. After just under a year in said role, she was promoted to Information Manager.

She served in said capacity for around three-and-a-half years before getting promoted to Head of Information. Over the next three years, Ms Warda’s role within the MGA changed a further three times: first to Head of Policy and Outreach, then to Head of Policy and International Affairs, and finally to Chief of Policy and International Affairs.

Since February 2022, Ms Warda has also been serving as a Member of the Board of Directors at the Gaming Regulators European Forum.

Her previous experiences include a stint as a researcher and another as a Marketing Assistant at PKF Malta.

The Chief of Policy and International Affairs holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Management from the University of Lodz and a Master’s Degree in Management Science with a specialisation in Marketing from HEC Liège,
