Tigné Mall plc on Thursday announced that Michael Agius has been named Non-Executive Director, with effect on the same day as the appointment.

Aside from his new role, Mr Agius is also Director of Finance (Major Projects) at Hili Ventures Limited, the Malta-based company which is the second-largest shareholder in Tigné Mall after a transaction worth around €6 million was completed last October.

He first joined Hili Ventures in 2021, following a seven-year spell at Grant Thornton Malta. During his time at the audit firm, he served in a wide range of position, including Senior Manager of Transaction Advisory Services.

Over the years, he has gained extensive experience in corporate finance, valuations, financial modelling, and business advisory.

Mr Agius is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Malta Institute of Accountants. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a qualification from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

Tigné Mall is the company behind The Point Shopping Mall in Sliema which opened back in 2010, offering a wide array of retail brands to customers.
