On Wednesday (today), Michael Cutajar announced that he will no longer be serving as CEO of Metaverse Architects.

In addition to his announcement, Mr Cutajar shared personal reflections and highlights from “his incredible journey” as CEO of the company.

These included seeing the company grow from a team of a few people in an apartment to a workforce of over 20 in the space of a year.

He also noted personally closing a number of deals and leading a range of projects during his tenure.

Mr Cutajar had initially joined the firm in 2022 as Head of Sales and Partner but was appointed CEO in July 2023.

Reflecting on lessons learned, Mr Cutajar noted that during his time, he “embraced the mantle of CEO, steering the company through both prosperous and difficult times.”

This encompassed making difficult decisions such as “difficult layoffs to navigate through challenges.”

Despite everything, Mr Cutajar remarked that he has gained invaluable insights into technology and coding, broadening his expertise.

Looking ahead, he shared his eagerness to dive deeper into the tech space with a particular interest in machine learning.”

“I’ve been honing my skills with private lessons in Python,” he concluded.

Founded by Luca Arrigo and Sean Ellul, Metaverse Architects is described as the “architectural firm for the metaverse,” aiming to bring forward brands and business models into the metaverse in a “playful and engaging way.”

When contacted by MaltaCEOs.mt, Mr Cutajar said that he is unable to provide comments due to investors’ restrictions.
