Michael Cutajar on Monday announced that he has been appointed CEO at Metaverse Architects, an architectural firm that designs and develops for different metaverse worlds.

He first joined the company in February of last year as Head of Sales and Partner, where he was responsible for overseeing all sales-related activities, including developing and executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, as well as building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners.

Since Mr Cutajar joined, he has also played an “active role in the day-to-day operations of the company”, assisting with management, financial planning, and also other key functions.

Prior to his time at Metaverse Architects, he worked at PwC Malta as an Auditor for a year and a half, as well as a Customer Service Officer at Paddy Power Betfair. He is also Director of MCSS Property Management, which operates and manages 13 studio apartments in Malta, a business which is currently being managed by his brother, Simon Cutajar.

Mr Cutajar holds a Master’s degree in Accountancy and Finance from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and an MQF Level 5 Award in Public Speaking and Speechwriting from Learning Works. He states that he is “fascinated by the rapid evolution of human society brought about by technological advances”, and is passionate about technology as a whole.

Founded by Luca Arrigo and Sean Ellul, Metaverse Architects is described as the “architectural firm for the metaverse”, aiming to bring forward brands and business models into the metaverse in a “playful and engaging way”. Its team has expertise in working on NFT galleries all the way to fully licenced crypto casinos.
