Toly, manufacturing industry giant and world leading supplier of packaging solutions for the beauty industry, has announced a partnership with Dutch specialty packaging firm Paperfoam®, which sees Toly take the exclusive rights to distribute jointly developed products for the beauty industry.

This agreement matches Toly’s Global Commercial reach and future sustainability strategy, the company has said, with Paperfoam’s® injection-molded technology that shapes foamed paper into solid scratch free packaging.

Reacting to the news, Toly’s CEO, Andy Gatesy said, “this partnership is a very exciting step for Toly to continue its path in leading the beauty industry with innovative and sustainable solutions.”

The collaboration, which allows for a joint development approach, will see the launch of a range of groundbreaking and innovative beauty industry products which will be available in many forms, including make-up palettes, jars and refill systems.

Paperfoam’s CEO, Willem Derkman, affirmed that “the last years have been focused on segments like consumer electronics and medical applications. With this partnership we are proud to develop further into the beauty industry.”
