Industry professional Peter Curmi has joined Valletta-based iGaming company WKND. as Chief Operations Officer (COO).

Mr Curmi’s latest appointment follows a ten-month tenure as Head of Operations (Portuguese Market) at Entain’s Malta offices. Before that, he served as Head of Operations and Risk, Fraud, and Payments Manager at Bet Entertainment Technologies Ltd.

The COO took to social media to celebrate his new position.

“It was a great journey with Bet Entertainment Technologies Ltd. and Entain these past years. Truly grateful for having worked with many superstars along the way,” Mr Curmi wrote.

“It was time to move on and I’m happy to share that I have started a new position as Chief Operations Officer at WKND.”

Operating since late 2020, WKND. helps build premium online casino environments whilst delivering great player experiences.

Mr Curmi’s earlier experiences include Responsible Gaming and KYC Manager at Mr Green Online Gaming, Operations Manager at Evoke Gaming, Fraud and Payments Team Leader at Betclic Everest Group, and iGaming Specialist at Besedo.
