Mgarr’s San Anton School has appointed Rachelle Caruana as its Head of Senior Sector.
The school took to social media to celebrate the appointment.
“Ms Caruana needs no introduction to the school. Whether in her former roles as Assistant Head of Senior Sector, Acting Head of the Sector, or as Teacher of Accounts, Ms Rachelle has served the school admirably,” San Anton School wrote.
“[She has been] sound in her knowledge of teaching and learning, outstanding in her commitment towards her wards, be they teachers or students. We wish Ms Caruana success in her newly assigned role at San Anton,” it continued.
San Anton School is an independent, co-educational, and mixed ability school educating over 1,000 students aged between 18 months and 16 years.
It was founded in 1988 as the original school of the Parents Foundation for Education and remains committed to instilling a quality education through a broad and balanced curriculum.
The school is headed by Bernadette Stivala, who succeeded the late Sandro Spiteri last May.
Earlier this month, San Anton School also elected Alexiei Dingli as its Deputy Chairman. His involvement with the school dates back to 2019, when he was appointed Board Member.
