Reuben Abela has been appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) at AgriBank plc, he announced on Tuesday.
He joins after his time at fintech company Andaria Financial Services came to an end last month, having first joined as Head of Commercial back in August 2022. Mr Abela most recently served as Chief Revenue Officer for the company after being promoted to the role last April.
Aside from that, Mr Abela’s career also includes experiences in senior marketing and commercial operations roles at Ixaris, Entropay, IoTFabrix, Worldfone, and Forbesfone, among others.
He possesses over 10 years of experience in the fintech industry, and describes himself as a commercial business advisor and a customer experience leader.
Mr Abela holds a Master of Science in Business Innovation & eBusiness from Birkbeck University of London, as well as a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) in Public Policy from University of Malta.
Established in 2012 and headquartered at SkyParks Business Centre in Luqa, AgriBank seeks to offer local and international corporate clients a flexible service. Amongst the services offered, the bank provides lending facilities, fixed deposit accounts, current account services, and flexible internet banking facilities.
