Reuben Attard has been appointed Chief People Officer at GO plc, the Malta-based telecommunications company announced on Thursday.

Mr Attard, who is currently Chief Finance Officer at GO, will assume his new responsibilities as from the start of 2024.

In doing so, he will replace Sarah Mifsud, who submitted her resignation from the role back in June. Following that, the company commenced a search and selection process to find a suitable replacement.

Mr Attard joined GO back in 2019 as an experienced people leader having managed various teams with different characteristics, spanning a variety of sectors including banking, financial services, hospitality, real estate, and telecoms.

“He champions GO’s purpose and values and there is no doubt that he will bring the right blend of continuity and innovation to the role,” GO said.

GO is one of Malta’s leading telecoms providers, with over 500,000 customer connections and services. Its services include fixed-line and mobile telephony, together with data and TV services for both consumers and business clients.
