The concert, which is set to be held on Thursday at Floriana, will see the English popstar, who has global hits like “Let Me Entertain You” and “Angels”, perform as part of his European tour. The XXV Tour, as it has been marketed, is celebrating 25 years of his music career, and also coincides with the release of his “Greatest Hits” album.

Mr Micallef’s comments came during a visit to the Floriana Granaries, the area where the event will be held, together with Minister for Tourism Clayton Bartolo.

Logistic preparations are now at the final stages, with Mr Micallef stating that it is estimated that around 20,000 people will attend the concert.
