Rosaire Galea Cavallaro on Friday shared that he has been appointed Vice President (VP) of Business Development at iGaming firm Delasport.

His new role comes after almost three years at B2B sportsbook software provider BETBY, where he initially joined as Commercial Manager in 2020, and was promoted to Head of Sales over a year later.

“After nearly three years at BETBY, it’s time to spring onto the next step of my career. I am forever grateful to BETBY and proud of what I managed to achieve here,” Mr Galea Cavallaro said.

He shared that he is “looking forward” to working alongside Delasport CEO Oren Cohen Shwartz and the rest of the professionals within the team.

“We will be focusing on regulated markets and most of all on what matters the most: the player experience. Stay the course, head down, work. Always learning, forever a student,” he added.

Prior to his time at BETBY, Mr Galea Cavallaro worked as Head of Sportsbook at Bet Entertainment Technologies Limited for two years and Sportsbook Risk Manager at Offsidegaming for three-and-a-half years. His career in iGaming first started with a five-year experience at Betsson Group, where he joined as Live Scheduler and Mapping, and then worked his way up to Senior Live Trader and Customer Analyst.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Malta from University of Malta and is qualified in essential management skills from International Business Management Institute.

Established in 2010, Delasport is an iGaming firm that aims to act as a “one-stop-shop solution” for sports betting and online casino from a White-Label, offering a range of management services. The company has various branches spread across the world, but Mr Galea Cavallaro will be working at its Malta office.
