Throughout his career, he has focused on “Enabling start-up ecosystems by leading, managing and advising teams on strategy, investments, innovation and new venture development.”

Mr Deepak is particularly interested in identifying and leveraging firms’ tacit knowledge, using this to create winning strategies for clients.

Gigify is an app that seeks to connect customers to freelance experts in several tasks such as cleaning and handyman work.

The gig economy has taken off, with people worldwide transitioning to gig work, allowing them to act as their own boss, and take freelance jobs directly from the market.

The gig economy also creates flexibility for consumers, with common applications being home services such as cleaning and repairs, but it is also being widely used for behind-the-desk office work done by digital nomads.
