Edmond Bonett, General Manager (GM) at Manouche Craft Bakery and Bistro, took to social media to celebrate his company’s success at the recently held Local Business Awards 2021.
The ceremony, held on 26th November, sought to pay tribute to and reward the Maltese community’s best businesses.
Manouche Craft Bakery and Bistro walked away with three awards – Best Craft Bakery of the Year, Best Bistro of the Year, and Most Innovative Business Project of the Year.
“Thank you to all our team members – present and past. Thank you to our families for supporting us throughout the many sacrifices this industry brings along with it,” Mr Bonett wrote.
“Last but not least, thank you to all our patrons and clients,” he continued.
Manouche saw significant growth in the past year, having opened a brand new outlet in Paceville earlier this month. This means that the bakery-bistro currently amasses five outlets around Malta.
Mr Bonett has held the role of GM at Manouche since last July. Prior to this appointment, he amassed a wealth of experience in the local hospitality and catering industry having occupied managerial roles at Hilltop Gardens, Roosendaal Hotels, and Saqqajja Caterers, amongst others.
