HandsOn Systems has developed a taxi booking app in collaboration with the Malta Licensed Taxi Association, bringing the latest technology to the White Taxis in Malta.

Having launched the app – titled Malta Taxi App – just last week, Geoffrey Farrugia, CEO of Malta-based technology company HandsOn Systems, took to social media to celebrate the news.

“It was a very busy week for us at HandsOn Systems,” he wrote, “however, we are extremely happy to have helped this project become a reality.”

Commenting on the process behind the development of the app, the CEO continued, “as they say, the harder the battle, the sweeter the victory!”

The app allows its users to request a taxi and book it quickly and easily, with a built-in tracker to see where your ride has arrived.

The Malta Licensed Taxi Association prides itself on being the oldest taxi service in Malta, having been in operation for over 70 years.

Meanwhile, Mr Farrugia founded HandsOn Systems in 2010, with a mission to help the world develop into an efficient, modernised, reliable, smarter and safer place.
