Gianni Zammit, Director and CEO at local events company Jugs Malta Ltd, took to social media to share three tips that he finds are key to maintaining a ‘healthy work-life balance’.
Founded in 2000, Jugs Malta has since become one of the best-known events companies on the islands. Its services include brand launches, conferences, award nights, team building concepts, employee engagement events, and brand activations, amongst others.
“If your body is not healthy, your brain is not healthy – dedicate time for some basic exercise and get moving,” Mr Zammit starts off.
Secondly, the CEO says, “you need to have something outside of work that excites you – a hobby, a passion, something – you need to be able to shut off from work-related thoughts and do something mentally relaxing.”
Mr Zammit’s third and last tip is all about technology: “although [it] is your friend, you need time without it too.”
Outside of Jugs Malta, Mr Zammit is involved as a Director and Shareholder at three other local businesses – YoYo Kids Malta, Business Leaders Malta, and Vibe FM.
The CEO is also heavily involved in the Maltese entertainment sector, having performed on the Malta Eurovision Song Contest stage as well as acted on screen.
