Malta-based gaming company, Quik Gaming, has secured licence approval from the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC), expanding the operator’s reach to one of the largest markets in Europe.
Commenting on the acquisition, Quik Gaming’s Chief Operations Officer, Timothy Bartolo Parnis, hailed this as “a huge step”, particularly “as the UKGC is known to have strict regulation requirements to comply with.”
The approval followed a long and thorough preparation exercise in order to meet the stringent criteria set by UK gambling regulations, with the company describing the feedback from the UK market as encouraging.
“We have a long line of parties interested in our innovative Unique Live Games,” says Mr Bartolo Parnis, and online casino operators in the UK will shortly be able to integrate Quik’s games to make them available to their players for the first time.
“We can’t wait to see the joy on players’ faces as they interact with our games,” the COO continues, adding that their availability in single and live player formats, and combining slot and live aspects, will draw in a wide spectrum of British players.
