Naxxar-based consultancy firm Seed announced that it is opening its offices to start-ups in need of a meeting space at no cost.

The company said that from its inception, Seed’s goal was to allow start-ups to use its office space, however the pandemic delayed the initiative as management sought to keep staff safe.

“We would like to help start-ups in every way we can. We remember the struggles we went through of not having a place where to meet clients or have internal meetings, and we wish to help those businesses and companies which are facing the same struggle,” Seed Co-Founding Partners JP Fabri and Nicky Gouder said.

“As the economy starts to recover, post-pandemic, we believe that this small gesture will make a big difference to young entrepreneurs and companies,” they continued.

Seed’s commitment to assist start-ups goes beyond this initiative, as earlier this month, the consultancy firm announced a collaboration with Birkirkara-based start-up accelerator Founder Atelier.

Together, the two organisations will work on helping Malta establish itself as a hub for young entrepreneurs and businesses.

This collaboration is being powered by American start-up accelerator Berkely SkyDeck – a company formed as a partnership between UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, the College of Engineering, and the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research.
