Trevor Mallia on Thursday announced that he has been appointed CEO at Malta-based AME Health and Safety Services Ltd.

Formed in 2004, AME is a local health and safety company that provides services ranging from training and certification to risk assessment and health and safety management. It operates in a wide range of industries, covering health and safety in construction and aviation, to banking and education, among others.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Mallia said that it is an honour for him to “be entrusted with guiding this market-leading organisation to reach the next level.”

His new role comes after a 28-year career in sales, marketing, and consulting, which has seen him create and execute strategies with the aim of generating revenue, increasing customer satisfaction, and enhancing brand reputation.

Prior to his latest appointment, Mr Mallia was Founder and CEO at Forefront Business Support & Solutions (Malta) for over six years, as well as Managing Director at Advanced Management Options Ltd for more than a year.

He describes himself as having a passion for coaching and mentoring, using his skills in conflict management, employee training, and leadership to “motivate and empower” his team and partners.

Mr Mallia holds a Master of Business Administration in Coaching and Mentoring from EDU Effective Business School and is also a Member of the International Coaching Federation.
