Zaar Crowdfunding Manager Matthew Caruana has won the JCI Malta Award for Business, Economic and/or Entrepreneurial Accomplishment.
The accolade is one of the Ten Outstanding Young People of Malta (TOYP) Awards, held to celebrate the achievements of young people working in all sectors of society.
JCI thinks critically about society’s greatest challenges and acts on behalf of communities to be part of the solution. They seek better solutions to build better communities on different levels, with the aim of creating a better future.
“What an honour! It’s a great feeling when you see your work being recognised,” Mr Caruana wrote on LinkedIn, before thanking the person who nominated him, the judges, those who voted for him, and JCI for organised the awards.
He added that now that he’d experienced JCI’s work and dedication, he would be getting involved in the organisation.
“I look forward to new challenges and to continue trying to help young entrepreneurs and to help you turn your ideas into reality,” he said.
