Würth Malta, the local subsidiary of worldwide wholesaler Würth Group, is celebrating Managing Director Arthur Calleja’s 20th anniversary at the company.
Mr Calleja joined Würth Malta as a Finance and Administration Manager back in June 2002. He held said role for two-and-a-half years before taking on the position of Sales and Finance Manager.
11 years after that, Mr Calleja was promoted to Managing Director – a position he holds to this day.
“From the bottom of our heart, we would like to congratulate our Managing Director Arthur Calleja. Mr Calleja joined Würth Malta on 17th June 2002. On behalf of all employees, thank you for all your hard work, support, and drive,” the company wrote.
Orlando Bonnici, an E-Business Specialist at the same company, further celebrated Mr Calleja’s anniversary, writing: “proud that you’re my boss, colleague, and friend.”
The Würth Malta Managing Director graduated from the University of Malta with a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons.). One of his first forays into the professional world saw him serve as an Auditor at KPMG Malta.
The Würth Group is a world market leader in its core business – the sale of assembly and fastening materials. It currently consists of over 400 companies across more than 80 countries and employs around 81,000 individuals.
University degrees still offer a route into industry, but nowadays, there are different ways of getting a dream job.
