In a digital landscape where social media can become overwhelming, prominent LinkedIn Content Creator and Coach, Lulu Godfrey, shares her journey of reclaiming control over her time and productivity on the platform.

“Six months ago, LinkedIn was taking over my life – and not in a good way,” Lulu recounts. She describes a routine characterized by last-minute post writing, endless scrolling for inspiration, and indiscriminate connection requests, all resulting in hours spent online with minimal output.

This, on a platform that is her main focus from a professional perspective. And, as many can attest, the addictive nature of social media calls for its own strategy.

Acknowledging this, Lulu realized the need for a structured approach: “Now before I open up LinkedIn, I set myself a goal and a manageable time limit,” she explains. Her revised strategy includes allocating specific time slots for tasks such as replying to comments, finding new connections, and engaging with notifications.

Her transformation serves as a reminder that success on social media doesn’t require endless hours of scrolling. “You don’t have to spend hours and hours on LinkedIn to get results. You just need to focus on the right actions,” she advises.
