Elephant & Cross (E&C) Managing Director Andrew Critien took to social media to pen an inspirational message for those doubting what power they hold over their career and future.
“I’m writing this because I genuinely believe that someone in your network needs to hear this,” Mr Critien began.
“This is something which is commonly understood by those who work in recruitment, HR, and management – but not so much by others,” he continued.
Mr Critien’s own academic journey saw him graduate from the University of Malta with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, however he is now sitting for a Masters in Business Administration at the Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge.
“Some people at the very top of their profession came from the strangest of places,” Mr Critien remarked.
“You do not need to be a genius to do something incredible with your career – persistence and dedication are more crucial traits for success,” he continued.
Working with a wide network of course providers, E&C offers education consultancy services to students and businesses in a bid to help clients find the perfect academic course for their needs.
Mr Critien took on the role of Managing Director at the aforementioned company in May 2021.
Prior to this appointment, he experienced a variety of roles at a plethora of companies – from Business Development Executive at Konnekt, to PA to the CEO at the Saint Thomas Institute.
“If you are unsatisfied with your industry, your role, your work environment – listen to your heart. Do something about it,” he concluded.
